Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first appointment includes a consultation to assess your skin’s needs, lifestyle, and current routine, as well as a bespoke facial tailored to what your skin needs that day and with your long-term skin health in mind.

From there, I’ll create a bespoke treatment plan for you, which you will receive via email within a week.

NB: Please arrive on time and do not arrive early, as there is no waiting room, and do not bring guests, as they won’t be able to wait in the building. Please refrain from wearing any perfume to your appointment. Thank you.

Where are you based?

Arc Skin is located at: Unit F, Ground Floor Studio B, Damsel House, Dragonfly Place, Brockley, London, SE4 2FL

The nearest station is Brockley, with Overground trains from Highbury & Islington and National Rail from London Bridge and Victoria.

My unit is at the very end of Dragonfly Place, please walk all the way down the road. I’m the last door of Damsel House – just give it a knock at the time of your appointment (not before, please as there’s no waiting room), and I’ll let you in.

How do I get on the waiting list for a first appointment?

Email info@arc-skin.com

Do I need to come makeup-free to my appointment?

Please come to your appointment makeup-free - especially around the eyes. If you're heading over from work or can’t avoid wearing makeup, don’t worry - I can remove it for you, though it may take a little time away from your treatment. I also kindly ask that you avoid wearing perfume, as the treatment space is small and strongly scented products can linger. Thank you!

Is there parking?

There is no on-site parking on Dragonfly Place, and it’s important not to drive down the street as you may receive a ticket. Instead, you’ll find free parking available on Endwell Road (the main road) and on the surrounding residential streets. Please allow a little extra time to park and walk over if you're driving.

How many treatments do I need to see results?

It can take 12 months of consistent product use, monthly facials and diet and lifestyle changes for the skin to really change. Remember that the skin is a living organ, so there is no ‘quick fix’, but it will set your unique foundation for long-term skin health.

What products do you use?

I use a carefully curated selection of professional skincare brands, including Dermaviduals, SkinBetter Science, Osmosis and more, chosen for their ability to support and strengthen the skin barrier, heal inflammation and rejuvenate the skin.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments require 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or reschedules must pay for the full cost of the appointment without exception. A single appointment can only be rescheduled 3 times before that appointment is automatically cancelled.

Can I book if I have active acne or rosacea?

Yes. Many of my treatments are specifically designed to support inflamed, sensitive or acne-prone skin.
